Printing and Framing
What are gicleé prints?Pronounced "jhee-clay", gicleé is an inkjet printing method from a large format printer. It merges the use of eight pigment inks that are fade resistant and archival. The ink is sprayed onto bright white paper, which yields highly saturated images, while maintaining excellent highlight and shadow detail. Each print is printed on demand and hand trimmed for the highest quality. About our framesOur environmentally friendly frames are made here in the United States. Once you receive your framed artwork, it is ready to hang. Your print comes with the hanging wire already attached and a hook for your wall. We offer four different colors. All frames are 2 inches wide. Black Frame: The black frame is of simple design for that modern look. This frame looks great on all our stamp images. Gold Frame: The gold frame has more of a traditional and formal feel to it and works well with any of the flower, landscape and lighthouse stamp images or anything with green and yellow tones. Wood Frame: The wood frame gives a nice woodsy, casual look to the images. This frame looks great on any of the outdoor images as well as stamp images that have brown tones in them. Silver Frame: The silver frame provides a more contemporary appearance. This chrome-looking frame compliments any print with silver colors like the motorcycle or car stamps. Our framing processWe use all quality materials when framing your artwork. We start by drymounting your image to foam board so the print won't have any waves or creases. After the drymount process we lay plexi-glass that is 1/8" thick on top of the art then secure it into the frame. To finish the framed piece we tape a dust cover on the back. Its that easy! |
